Golden Crust arrives at Bute Yard Kitchen with local chef Alona Loshatetska, stepping out with her own menu and cooking style for the first time.

Having built her experience working alongside Pawel, this marks a new chapter, bringing a selection of comforting, homemade dishes to the kitchen. The menu is rooted in simple, well-prepared food, with influences from Eastern European cooking alongside familiar favourites.

Expect hearty plates such as grilled meats, warming soups and classic comfort dishes, alongside sweet treats including traditional desserts like tiramisu and syrnyk, a baked Ukrainian cheesecake. Everything is made with care, focusing on flavour, generosity and a relaxed, approachable style of cooking.

Golden Crust is about good, honest food, a personal step forward for a local chef, and a chance to try something new within the Bute Yard line-up.
